The RC-HS20PD is a remote control for the HS-8 and HS-20 solid-state recorders, allowing instant start of audio material via individual illuminated buttons and a TFT touchscreen control panel. The user can set up to 100 tracks for instant start on five pages. A 100 mm fader with switch contact enables fader start in broadcasting, and a 0 dB lock helps to prevent clipping. There is also a monitoring speaker and a headphone connection. The RC-HS20PD is connected to the recorder via CAT6 cable, making it possible to cover longer distances.
