  • Tripod
  • extremely resilient (load capacity up to 10 kg) and made of 100% carbon (11 layers)
  • integrated spikes
  • light, robust and strong - in any location, even in sand and salt water
  • Rubber coatings on all tripod legs
  • Mounting plate with 3/8 inch and 1/4 inch connection
  • Tripod hook for attaching counterweights
  • Quick-release fasteners for stepless adjustment of the leg length
  • incl. center column with a length of 22.5 cm

Now in its second generation, the Lion Rock outdoor tripod family is already inspiring the trade press and photography professionals alike. The current Mark II models with their impressive robustness and load-bearing capacity have now been reinforced by three particularly lightweight tripods that have been specially developed for situations where every single gram really counts. The challenge was to maintain the premium quality and the proverbial indestructibility of these proven high-end tripods and to reduce the weight even further. The result: three truly exceptional travel tripods which, despite their considerably reduced weight and astonishingly compact packing dimensions, still deliver around ten times the payload reliably and vibration-free to your desired subject, even in the most adverse weather conditions.

Full Lion Rock features, lowest weight
The lightest member of the new Lion Rock Traveler tripod range weighs just 1250 grams - even with the professional ball head fitted! The four tripod leg segments are made of the finest carbon fiber, which has been woven together in 11 wafer-thin layers at the ideal angle in order to compensate for the vertical forces in the best possible way. The quick-release fasteners of the leg segments have been fitted with double seals to protect the inner leg mechanism from the ingress of sand and salt particles. As is usual with all Lion Rock models, the Traveler is also equipped with specially developed spikes that claw into ice, sand, wood or other challenging surfaces at a perfect 90° angle and focus the tripod, with its maximum payload of 10 kg, on your chosen subject in any wind and weather, completely unimpressed. Of course, the new Lion Rock Traveler S also comes with protective rubber feet.

Divisible center column, friction-braked professional ball head
With the Rollei Lion Rock Traveler S, you are purchasing a sophisticated and extremely high-quality travel tripod with outstanding product features. For macro shots close to the ground, you can conveniently split the stable center column and attach your photo backpack or camera bag to the tripod hook on the underside to shift the center of gravity even further down. The smooth-running and sturdy leg attachments on the tripod shoulder have three angle positions that click into place cleanly, the scale on the lowest leg segment, which is easy to read even in poor lighting conditions, makes it easier for you to make a rough alignment, and you can use the high-quality spirit level in the tripod shoulder area for precise horizontal fine adjustment of your camera. When the leg elements and the center column are fully extended, you get a maximum height of 138 cm, the recommended working height is 115 cm, for this the center column is brought to its lowest position and you get the highest stability. Your sensitive and expensive professional equipment is in the best hands with the Rollei Lion Rock Traveler S, stable safety pins in the Arca-Swiss-compatible, 40 mm long quick-release plate prevent your camera from slipping out unintentionally.

Specially shaped steel spikes anchor themselves ideally in the ground and form a 90° angle to the ground for a stable stand.
