A 5.5" HD touch display plus encoder with touch function, professional channel presets and the VOXLab Quick Editor ensure a fast and logical workflow. If you want, you can also delve deep into the signal processing parameters.

Mixer
The mixer section of the RODECaster Pro II can be freely configured: Each of the nine input channels - six physical and three virtual - can be individually assigned to the desired signal. You can choose from analog sources connected to the four combo sockets (XLR/6.35 mm), Bluetooth, USB 1, USB 2 and audio files triggered via the SMART Pads. The first six inputs have high-quality 100 mm faders as well as select, solo and mute buttons; the three virtual inputs are operated via the display and with the large encoder to the right.

Analog sources
You can connect microphones (XLR) or electric guitar, bass, keyboards and other line sources (6.35 mm) to the four Neutrik combo sockets on the rear panel. Microphone signals - even those from insensitive dynamic speaker mics - are preamplified optimally and noise-free by the audiophile "Revolution" high-gain preamps. If you use the jack sockets, you can switch the impedance for electric guitars to high impedance in the menu.

Digital sources
The RODECaster Pro II has a dual USB audio interface with two USB-C sockets and MFi certification for iOS devices. This allows the simultaneous connection of two computers (Mac/PC), two Android or iPhones or a combination of these. You can also connect a fast USB storage device for recording.

Wireless
The Bluetooth section offers first-class voice sound quality thanks to wideband technology and allows music to be played and the signal output via an external Bluetooth speaker. The RODECaster Pro II also has Wi-Fi on board, so firmware updates, for example, can be carried out very conveniently wirelessly.

SMART Pads
The eight color-illuminated trigger pads are programmable and can be used to start audio files - the RODECaster Pro II has an internal memory of 4 GB for this purpose - as well as to trigger MIDI commands, mixer actions (e.g. fade in/fade out) and vision switching. A total of 64 actions can be programmed and saved, as there are eight banks in addition to the eight pads, which can be conveniently switched using two hardware buttons.

Signal processing and effects
The legendary Aphex Aural Exciter, Big Bottom and Compellor plus high-pass filter, EQ, De-Esser, Noise Gate and Compressor are at the heart of the signal processing. Plus the studio effects reverb, delay, pitch shifting and robot voice. Input signals can also be assigned several effects simultaneously. The mix-minus and ducking functions are also helpful.

Recording
To record podcasts and other audio content, you can use an (optional) microSD card, which is inserted into the corresponding slot at the back. Alternatively, you can also use a suitable USB-C storage medium or record on a computer or mobile device connected via USB.

Hardware and power supply
To attach the RODECaster Pro II to tripods or brackets, a 3/8" thread and four Vesa mounting points are embedded in the base. Power is supplied via the included external USB-C power supply unit, which can be easily replaced with an optional 30 watt USB-C PD power bank for mobile use of the device. A 3 m long USC-C to USB-C cable is also included.
