Peak Design Everyday Backpack V2 Zip Photo Backpack20 liters
The Everyday Backpack 20L Zip is a new version of the Everyday photo backpacks from Peak Design - especially lightweight, stylish and with innovative access system. Photo and everyday things are always together with you and a pure photo backpack therefore makes no sense? That's the idea behind the Everyday backpacks from Peak Design. At the same time, your style is important to you and you want a slim, elegant backpack that also fits you well on the street or during sports? That's exactly what the "Zip" version of the Everyday series was designed for.

Side access
In addition to its ergonomic, minimalist design, the Everyday Backpack Zip scores - as the name suggests - with quick, uncomplicated access to the main compartment: with a weatherproof zipper along the entire length of the backpack. So you can choose to access the contents from the top or from both sides! At the same time, this clever detail increases the suitability of the backpack for everyday use enormously: if you not only take your photo equipment, but also everyday items with you. To make this work without any problems, you can configure the interior individually (more on this below) and thus easily store both separately from each other - and also access them independently through the opening on both sides. You can also pull the backpack in front of your body from the right side to access camera gear in the right main compartment, for example, while everyday items stay safely in the left half of the backpack. Comfortable, uncomplicated adjustable carrying straps help with this. And since the outer shell of the backpack is also made entirely of 100% recycled, weatherproof nylon, the contents will stay dry even if you're headed to Scotland in the fall, for example.

Adaptable: plenty of room for camera and Lenses
The main compartment is highly adaptable: with two Velcro dividers that can be individually placed and folded, it adapts entirely to the needs of your photo gear, making it suitable for any type of camera - from mirrorless system cameras of all sizes to full-frame SLRs. Of course, what ultimately fits in the backpack depends on the size of your camera and lenses. A possible lineup would be a DSLR camera with one lens attached, two to three interchangeable lenses, and a clip-on flash. Larger DSLM cameras, such as the various models in the Sony a7 series or a Fuji X-T3, still leave room for more lenses. And those who have a small DSLM camera (MFT cameras from Olympus, Fujifilm X-A or E series) can use the backpack for their equipment and for non-photographic items.

Optimal fit and high carrying comfort
A detachable chest strap provides even more carrying comfort if required. This connects the two carrying straps and then holds each other in position. Thus, the backpack sits optimally on the body without slipping. The chest strap is hooked into the carrying straps with aluminum hooks. In addition, a length-adjustable hip belt is available as a separate accessory. This transfers some of the backpack's weight to the hip area to further relieve back strain.

Versatile extra compartments
A tablet and laptop compartment securely holds devices with a screen diagonal of up to 15 inches. Thanks to two separate sleeves, documents can also be transported in addition to the tablet or laptop. There are also several small slip-in compartments in the inner lining - messy batteries, memory cards and cables are a thing of the past with the Everyday Backpack. These compartments either have zippers or are even self-closing thanks to a mini magnet in the lining. More luggage than planned? No need to worry! With the included Cord Hook carrying straps, the bag gets additional carrying capacity: simply snap the adjustable carrying loops to the side. Tripods and other items can be securely attached to the outside and carried along. When you're not using this feature, the tethers can be stored in a hidden storage compartment.

The FlexFold dividers - Clever folding design for individual adjustment
Almost a trademark of Peak Design: Unlike other backpacks, the Everydays can be divided and adjusted even more flexibly. The trick behind it: the FlexFold dividers! The developers of Peak Design have based the concept on Japanese origami techniques. With this innovative design of two layers of fabric, the one-piece is not only simply foldable, but doubly unfoldable: one layer of the divider can be folded down, while the other layer remains unfolded. So you get a kind of shelf with an intermediate bottom. The divider can support a long Lens and at the same time separate two Lenses stacked on top of each other - a multitude of storage possibilities. Of course, you can also remove the FlexFold dividers altogether - so the Everyday Backpack Zip adapts to your everyday needs.

Attachment option for a Capture Clip on each carrying strap
Both carrying straps have an attachment option for a Capture Camera Clip or a CapturePro Clip. This ensures that the camera is reliably secured and immediately within reach.

More details
Peak Design has also kept an eye on the little things. Among the many details are an interior pocket for sunglasses and an AnchorLink clip in the sheath as a secure anchor point for your keychain! Additionally, there are loops on the outside for the two Cord Hook tether straps, which can be used to securely tether things that are too bulky for the interior. Such details optimize the backpack for photo use and increase its utility in everyday life. Waterproof DWR impregnation and weather-resistant zippers with trims and safety tabs make the bag fit for harsh environments, while soft cotton blend fabric interior provides a quality feel.
