Ultimate mobility and versatility: M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-45 mm F4.0 PRO:
The M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-45 mm F4.0 PRO is currently the world's most compact and lightest standard zoom lens with constant aperture, making it an excellent addition to the Olympus camera systems. Photographers on the move appreciate lightweight equipment that does not compromise on image quality. Like all models in the PRO series, the new zoom lens is robust, weatherproof and impresses with its outstanding imaging performance.

Compared to other camera systems, Olympus cameras and M.Zuiko Lens are often only half the size and weight, making them a real alternative for mobile photographers. The combination of high-resolution, high-performance Lens with the world's best image stabilization enables high-quality photos and videos in almost any situation. The M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-45 mm F4.0 PRO is the world's most compact lens* in its class.

The world's most compact and lightweight design
The lens design of the new M.Zuiko ED 12-45 mm F4.0 PRO is similar to that of the proven ED 12-40 mm F2.8 PRO. The effective placement of special lenses is the basis for the world's lightest and smallest design with a focal length of 24 to 90 mm (35 mm equivalent). The equally small and lightweight focusing lens ensures fast and precise AF for capturing any subject. The body is dust-, splash- and frost-proof** and sealed in 9 places.

Fixedaperture over the entire zoom range and high resolution
Aspherical lenses and the ZERO (Zuiko Extra-Low Reflection Optical) coating, which offers clear imaging performance, reduce aberrations, ghosting and reflections. Light loss at the edges of the image is suppressed. This results in high-resolution images with perfect imaging performance right up to the edges. As the aperture value remains constant over the entire focal length, the exposure can be easily controlled when zooming and recording videos.

Outstanding macro capabilities
The M.Zuiko ED 12-45 mm F4.0 PRO is also suitable for macro photography with a maximum magnification of 0.25x (35 mm equivalent = 0.5x) over the entire zoom range. The closest focusing distance is 12 cm (wide-angle) and 23 cm (telephoto).
Focus Stacking*** is also possible. With this function, several consecutive images are taken with different focus ranges, which are then combined to create an image with a large depth of field.
