  • Fully automatic bellows unit
  • stepless extension
  • min. Extension: 29 mm
  • max. extension: 116 mm

Theclassic way to macro and micro photography is via the bellows.
The fully automatic bellows BAL-EOSR was specially developed for use with the mirrorless cameras of the Canon EOS R series and Lens and transfers all functions between camera and lens. Suitable lenses can even be attached to the bellows in a retro position using an optionally available reduction ring.

The BAL-EOSR automatic bellows is of course fully integrated into the NOVOFLEX adapter system and can also be used with other lenses for special applications.

It is up to each photographer to decide which Lens to use on the automatic bellows. However, anyone looking for the best possible image quality will be happy with the FLEX-APO-DIGI90. This is a high-resolution and apochromatically corrected lens head, which is available as an option. In addition to the excellent image quality, this lens offers an amazingly large focusing range, extending from a magnification of 1:1 to infinity.

Even those who prefer to work with manual Lens do not need to do without the NOVOFLEX automatic bellows, because as usual with NOVOFLEX, the automatic bellows fits into the large NOVOFLEX modular system and can be combined with all possible NOVOFLEX accessories.

Function and task of a bellows device in general:
Stepless extension = distance between sensor plane and lens (= image width); thus a continuous approach to small Lens to be able to photograph them full frame.

Telephoto lenses can be focused much closer than their closest focusing distance (without bellows) - resulting in a telephoto perspective at close range and, above all, a large working distance (no disturbance of the lens, space for additional lighting).

Images enlarged with standard and especially wide-angle lenses (from the camera range) = macro images; over 1:1 up to approx. 7:1

On the tripod: an optionally available focusing slide is used to focus without moving the bellows extension (= image width) or the tripod - i.e. the focus zone can be moved while the image scale remains constant.

NOTE:
In conjunction with the Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R, Canon EOS-SLR cameras and Lens can also be used on the automatic bellows!
