Leofoto LP-284C Poseidon carbon tripod with LH-30 ball head
The LP-284C carbon tripod from Leofoto is part of the Poseidon tripod series. The tripods in this series have unique features that make them ideal for frequent use on the coast or in the riverbed. The LP-284C has four leg sections and reaches a maximum working height of 129 cm. The minimum working height of this tripod, on the other hand, is only 16 cm, which is nice for working close to the ground. Despite its low weight of only 1.55 kilograms, it has a load capacity of 10 kilograms. The LP-284C tripod comes with an LH-30 ball head and several useful accessories.
Robust Poseidon series
The unique features of the LP-284C from Leofoto's Poseidon series protect against corrosion caused by use in wet conditions. The parts of the tripod legs and rubber feet that frequently come into contact with water are made of titanium. It is known that titanium is also well protected against corrosion in seawater. The legs are also waterproof thanks to the innovative TwistLock locking system. By keeping water, sand or fine gravel out of the locking system, the tripod always remains in top condition, which in turn makes it low-maintenance.
The tripod, like every Leofoto tripod, is made of 10-ply woven carbon fiber and the legs have an eccentric blue color. The carbon fibers make the LP-284C tripod stable while it remains lightweight, weighing only 1.55 kilos including the ball head. There is a ¼-inch thread on the side of the tripod platform to extend the tripod with a 'Magic Arm' or other accessory. There is a 3/8-inch hook underneath the tripod platform to place the carabiner. This allows you to make the tripod heavier. All Leofoto tripods, and the Leofoto LP-284C is no exception, come with a 10-year warranty.
LH-30 ball head with BPL-50 quick release plate
The professional LH-30 ball head can be rotated 360 degrees and tilted from portrait to landscape position and has a universal 3/8" tripod screw to which you can attach almost any camera. The friction is adjustable via a rotary knob, which offers precise adjustment options. The ball head has a diameter of 30 mm and a swivel base of 47 mm. The height is 84 mm. This ball head is supplied with a BPL-50 quick-release plate and is Arca-Swiss compatible. It has a load capacity of up to 15 kilos and weighs 310 grams.
Arca-Swiss compatible tripod plate
Thanks to the universal BPL-50 Arca-Swiss quick-release plate, you can quickly attach the camera to the Leofoto LH-30 ball head. To do this, loosen the clamp, slide the 50 mm long quick-release plate into the holder and screw the clamp back on. Of course, this quick-release plate can also be replaced with another universal Arca-Swiss compatible quick-release plate. The camera can also be mounted on this ball head with a Leofoto L-plate.

All transferable rights of use of the content provided by you are transferred to Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and representatives (including but not limited to affiliated companies, service providers, search engines, employees, agencies, branches, joint ventures, suppliers). The content may be used, modified and published by the aforementioned parties at their own discretion without any restrictions in terms of time, content and location. Promotional use is also permitted. Personal data (e-mail address, address, contact details) will not be passed on to third parties.
You assume full responsibility for your content. You agree to indemnify Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future affiliates and agents for all costs, including attorneys' fees, any damages, consequential damages of any kind, claims and demands arising from your failure to comply with the Review and Community Media Guidelines and these Terms of Use.
