Leofoto SO-282C Inverted tripod with inverted leg sections
The SO-282C carbon tripod is part of the Leofoto inverted tripod series.
The unique legs make mounting these tripods lightning fast and particularly user-friendly. The inverted leg sections keep the tripod stable even under the most demanding conditions. The SO-282C reaches a maximum working height of 166 cm. The minimum working height of this tripod is only 12.5 cm, which is practical if you want to work close to the ground. Despite its low weight of only 1.49 kilos, it has a load capacity of 25 kilograms.

The carbon tripod legs
The SO-282C tripod is made of 10-layer carbon and black anodized aircraft aluminium.
This choice of material offers a perfect balance between robustness and low weight. This tripod has two leg sections - the upper leg section has a diameter of 28 mm and the second section has a diameter of 32 mm. The inverted legs increase stability compared to a conventional tripod. The Twist-Lock locks are in a particularly easy-to-operate position due to the inverted system. The legs are easy to adjust: You loosen or tighten the legs with just one hand movement. As this tripod has a load capacity of no less than 25 kilos, it is ideal for sports shooting, huge telescopes and, for example, surveillance or camera equipment.

Inverted series
The tripods from the Leofoto Inverted Tripod series are characterized by their enormous stability and, of course, the inverted extendable tripod legs. They also have a 75 mm wide, removable tripod plate, but do not have a center column. This reduces vibrations to a minimum and increases the stability of the tripod.
