The Celeste series is a state-of-the-art filter range specially developed for professional photographers. It is characterized by excellent anti-reflective performance combined with an Anti-Stain Coating (ASC) and a newly designed, fashionable frame with high ergonomic properties. Celeste UV reduces the UV radiation that negatively affects the image when shooting outdoors. At the same time, the UV filter serves to protect the expensive front optical element of the Lens from physical damage.
Celeste filters promise satisfaction for every professional photographer with the highest demands on quality and maintenance routine. The Celeste filter series guarantees almost no negative interference with the light.
Origin of the name
From the Latin word "caelestis", meaning great, something beyond human capabilities, and the Italian "celeste", meaning the color of the clear sky, the Celeste filter series promises the photographer the best optical performance and superior benefits.
Extremely low light reflection
Celeste UV uses an 18-layer Super ZR anti-reflection coating - an improved version of the Kenko ZETA filter series that delivers amazing results in light reflection performance. Thanks to this coating technology, the light reflection level remains at 0.2%, which is incredibly low, meaning that the Celeste UV transmits just about 100% of all light entering the Lens. Considering that it is a 100% transparent, color cast free optical glass, it is the purest and most pristine filter ever made.
Anti-Stain Coating
In addition to excellent light transmission, Celeste UV offers impressive water and oil repellent properties thanks to the Anti-Stain Coating (ASC). The anti-stain coating is applied to both sides of the lens to make filter maintenance easier and more effective. There is less risk of dust sticking to the filter and scratching the filter when wiping the surface with cleaning paper.
Water and oil repellent
ASC effectively repels water, oil and dirt, so that the filter surface remains clear under various pick-up conditions. Frequent cleaning or wiping off of dust is no longer necessary. This ensures a long product life compared to other brand filters, whose coating peels off more quickly when the filter is wiped more frequently.

All transferable rights of use of the content provided by you are transferred to Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and representatives (including but not limited to affiliated companies, service providers, search engines, employees, agencies, branches, joint ventures, suppliers). The content may be used, modified and published by the aforementioned parties at their own discretion without any restrictions in terms of time, content and location. Personal data (e-mail address, address, contact details) will not be passed on to third parties.
You assume full responsibility for your content. You agree to indemnify Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future affiliates and agents for all costs, including attorneys' fees, any damages, consequential damages of any kind, claims and demands arising from your failure to comply with the Review and Community Media Guidelines and these Terms of Use.
