Heiland Film Processor TAS
The device simultaneously rotates and tilts the film processor and maintains the necessary standstill phases. This creates a movement similar to that of classic manual processing. However, the tilting rhythm is controlled much more precisely. Together with the integrated computer for temperature compensation, your negatives will be developed reproducibly and conveniently in the future.
You can directly adopt parameters for film development that have already been determined; programming only consists of entering the values. Several individual developing modes are supported by small external memory modules.
And if you don't need the TAS temporarily, it can easily be stored on a shelf. The device is easy to transport and can even be powered by a car battery.

A tilt-rotation film processor for 35mm and, of course, for roll film.
You continue to use the developing cans you already have.

The workflow is extremely simple
Set parameters quickly and safely with just one button and a rotary dial
Wind film(s) into the can
Fill the can
Clamp the can
Press the start button

TAS initially tilts and rotates the film can continuously. After the programmed time, cycles of standstill and further tilting/rotating movements follow. The device signals the end of the process with signal tones 30, 20 and 10 seconds before the end and with a continuous tone after the end of the development time.
While the development is running exactly according to your personal parameters, you can concentrate on other things, e.g. loading the next film canister or taking notes. The end of development is indicated acoustically.
The reduction of technology to the essentials and the use of high-quality components ensures effective and long-lasting use.
For several users, different film developer combinations or for different development categories according to the zone system, we offer inexpensive small memory chips - these are quick and easy to change.
For pure tilt development, the rotation can be switched off with a single movement, even during the program sequence.

The advantages at a glance
Better edge sharpness of negatives thanks to tilt process with standstill phases.
Significantly cheaper than classic rotary processors.
Existing developing cans can be used.
Reproducible developing results.
Development of 35mm, roll and sheet films.
Small footprint.
Supports multiple users with removable memory.
Ideal for the zone system and for 2-bath development.
Integrated computer for temperature-time correction.
Transportable - also for use in motorhomes with 12V supply.
Solid, durable metal construction.

Version for Kindermann and Hewes tank system
With this TAS version you can develop your films using the stainless steel tanks from Kindermann and Hewes. Tanks with a capacity of up to 3 35mm films or 3 spirals are supported. We can also offer a special version for the 120 tank system on request.
