FUJIFILM GFX100S II: Mirrorless system camera with 102-megapixel sensor, high-speed AF and integrated image stabilizer The FUJIFILM GFX series mirrorless system cameras are particularly appreciated for the unprecedented image quality of their large-format sensor*1. The sensor is 1.7 times larger than a conventional 35mm sensor ("full-frame"). The FUJIFILM GFX100S II is the latest model and the lightest camera in the GFX series, weighing just 883 grams*2. It is equipped with the high-resolution GFX 102MP CMOS II sensor and the latest generation of the powerful X-Processor 5, which work together to deliver unrivaled image quality.
The photos created with the GFX100S II are characterized by a wide dynamic range with the finest tonal gradations and a three-dimensional image effect, both of which are made possible by the unique properties of the large-format image sensor. The camera also features advanced object detection based on deep learning technology, which has evolved significantly from its predecessor*3. With fast autofocus and continuous shooting at up to seven frames per second*4, the GFX100S II captures dynamic subjects with precision.
The built-in five-axis image stabilizer is the most advanced in the series, allowing up to eight EV stops*5 longer exposure times. The camera is also suitable for high-quality video recording in 4K/30p quality.
The GFX100S II makes it easy for discerning photographers to get started with large-format photography. The outstanding image quality and the handy body make it a camera that you simply love to shoot with.
Large-format 102 megapixel sensor The GFX100S II is equipped with the GFX 102MP CMOS II sensor and the powerful X-Processor 5, the combination of which enables unprecedented image quality. FUJIFILM used its decades of experience in the field of color reproduction in its development, and even the finest details are reproduced razor-sharp.
The sensor has a pixel structure that enables a higher saturation and thus a low standard sensitivity of ISO 80. In contrast to its predecessor, the GFX100S II offers a wider dynamic range and better noise performance.*6 The sensor's microlenses have been optimized to increase the light yield at the edges of the image. This results in increased imaging performance and more precise automatic focusing in the peripheral areas.
The GFX100S II offers a total of 20 film simulations, including "REALA ACE" for natural color reproduction and high-contrast tonality. This means that numerous image styles are available, which can be selected to suit the respective scene, similar to analog films.
With the "Pixel Shift Multi-Shot" function, the camera takes 16 high-resolution RAW images in raw data format one after the other, whereby the image sensor is shifted by 0.5 pixels after each exposure. The resulting individual photos can be combined into a single image file with a resolution of up to 400 megapixels using the "Pixel Shift Combiner" software.
In "Real Color" mode, four RAW files are captured with a shift of one pixel per shot to produce a high-resolution 102 megapixel image with maximum naturalness in colour reproduction. Compared to the previous model, the recording process is now four times faster and the amount of data required is four times smaller.
Integrated image stabilizer The GFX100S II is equipped with an advanced image stabilizer. This uses the information supplied by the image sensor as well as highly sensitive gyro and acceleration sensors to compensate for the finest camera vibrations with maximum precision. Photographs can be taken with exposure times that are up to eight EV steps*5 longer. Even in very low light, sharp free-hand images are possible.
Compact body and ease of use The GFX100S II is just as compact as its predecessor, measuring around 104 millimetres in height and 87 millimetres in depth. It weighs only around 883 grams, making it the lightest GFX camera with a 102-megapixel sensor. The body is encased in non-slip BISHAMON-TEX*7 and can be held securely in the hand even in unusual grip positions and for long periods of use.
High-speed AF and fast continuous shooting An advanced AF algorithm not only ensures improved automatic focusing on the face and eyes, but also enables object detection autofocus based on deep learning technology. Thanks to the powerful artificial intelligence, animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, planes, trains, insects and drones*8 are recognized by the camera, automatically tracked and kept in focus. The photographer can concentrate fully on the moment of the shot and the composition of the image.
The advanced AF algorithm enables improved prediction of subject movement. The camera focuses on dynamic and fast subjects even more reliably than its predecessor. The faster readout speed of the GFX 102MP CMOS II sensor and an advanced shutter mechanism enable continuous shooting at up to seven frames per second. This enables unique snapshots of dynamic subjects.
The GFX100S II is equipped with a high-resolution viewfinder with 5.76 million pixels and 0.84x magnification. The optically corrected viewfinder image can be viewed comfortably from different eye positions.
4K video function When recording video, the standard sensitivity ISO 100 is available for even higher image quality and a tracking AF for automatic tracking of a moving subject. The object to be tracked can be selected directly via the touchscreen during recording in "AF-C + Wide/Tracking" mode.
Videos can be recorded in 4K quality at 30 frames per second and saved with 4:2:2 10-bit color depth on the camera's internal SD card. If an external SSD*9 is connected to the camera via a USB Type-C cable, it is also possible to record in the Apple ProRes*10 video codec.
The GFX100S II can record moving images in F-Log2 mode, which offers a dynamic range of more than 13 f-stops*11. The video material thus offers additional creative scope in post-production. External recorders for backing up or playing back video data can be connected via HDMI. For example, a sequence can be recorded in F-Log2 quality on the external storage medium while the video is monitored on an external monitor using a film simulation. The camera can therefore be integrated into individual recording setups in a variety of ways.
The GFX100S II supports the cloud service "Frame.io | Camera to Cloud". Video and photo files can be uploaded directly to Frame.io. This significantly speeds up the workflow from shooting to editing.

Film curves The curve under Basic Features describes the basic tone mapping of all pixels that effectively manages the initial appearance of your RAW file. In addition to the default curve, other curves are available that provide additional options for controlling your image.
Styles and Presets Apply your favourite visual styles to your images. A ready-made set of visual adjustments can be made using styles and presets with just a few clicks. Choose from built-in style packs, create your own or install third-party style packs. You can also select one of the many additional Capture One Style Packs.
Layers For precise local adjustment, most tools in Capture One Pro can be applied to layers, enhancing the control of each image. Apply up to 16 layers and use different brush options for precise masking. Control the effect of your local adjustments by changing the opacity of each layer.
Radial gradient mask Radial masks make it easy to quickly shape round masks with smooth edges. Use them for custom vignettes to apply creative effects or enhance focus.
Linear gradient mask Get more editing precision with radial gradient masks. Adjust the size, shape and symmetry of masks with just a few clicks and keystrokes, and use them to create smooth gradients on layers, smooth transitions to the sky - and much more.
Luminance masks Create masks like never before. Luminance masks allow you to narrow down any adjustment to a selected range of brightness. For example, you can use them to focus your shadow restoration only on the darkest shadows or to add clarity only to the brightest parts of an image.
Repair and clone Want to remove unwanted elements from your images? Repair or clone an area of your image by adding a new layer with layers. While a repair layer blends into the environment of the target area, a clone layer clones the specific source area into the target area.
Feather Mask Refine Mask Softening mask edges after drawing is simplified with the Feather Mask function. Avoid redrawing masks by simply dragging a slider to soften the mask edges. Use the Refine Edge option to create a more precise mask edge. Create a clean and customisable mask for many purposes, such as picking out hair against a background. Use this option with the enhanced Auto Mask function to achieve precise results.
Grey Scale Mask Visualise your mask without distraction from the image by switching to Grey Scale. Now you can easily capture and correct omitted areas of your mask.
Organise your images Asset management is critical for any photographer, whether managing images from isolated day-to-day jobs or large image collections with thousands of images. Capture One provides tools and solutions for every photographer, making asset management simple, fast and effective.
Catalogues and meetings Whether you want to manage smaller everyday jobs or large image collections, or need a standalone image editing tool, Capture One features a solid workflow tailored to your working style. Sessions are designed for most everyday jobs and catalogues for large image collections. You can even use Capture One as your standalone image editing tool of choice.
Process recipes Speed up your output process. Export multiple formats and sizes at once with process recipes. So you can prepare your images for web, Instagram or print - all in one export. Export options include ignore crop, sharpen for output, remove metadata, add watermarks - and much more.
Select, evaluate, sort out Sort images efficiently with tools to rate, tag colours and organise images in your session or catalogue. You can also activate the „move to next“ option to automatically move to the next photo when rating or tagging - a huge time saver when sorting large projects.
Filters and Smart Albums Filter your images globally or save your filters as a smart album with a variety of criteria to maximise your efficiency. It's never been easier to find every 5-star rated and colour-coded portrait-aligned image in your collection taken with a 50mm lens.
Keywords and keyword lists Add and remove keywords from multiple images with simple clicks. Create multiple keyword libraries to manage different lists effortlessly and make keywording an integral part of your asset management workflow.
PSD Roundtrip support Capture One supports reading multi-layer PSD files so you can roundtrip perfectly with Photoshop and control your image editing workflow.
Switch to Capture One Capture One allows you to import other third-party application catalogues to make migration easier than ever before. Folder structures and most adjustments to your images are retained.
Workflow and performance From custom tools and keyboard shortcuts to graphics acceleration and wired instant capture, Capture One is designed to give you minimum workload and maximum efficiency. Design your own workspace and find your working style in Capture One.
Wired recording Capture One's industry-leading wired capture is fast, flexible and reliable, making it indispensable for photography sessions where speed and accuracy matter. Capture directly into your computer for near-instant viewing, with or without instant adjustments. Activate Live View for easier composition when shooting still life.
Work areas Customise your workspace to suit your workflow: Tools, viewers, thumbnails and icons can be hidden, moved and resized so you can work as efficiently as possible. In addition, the user interface is designed to make all tools as accessible as possible: Pin your favourite tools to the top to access them at any time, and scroll through the tools below.
Tokens Text fields for naming, destination and other input such as watermarks offer the option of using 'tokens'. Instead of static, manually written text, tokens are dynamic and change depending on the information to which they have been assigned. For example, the "ISO token" uses the ISO value of each image as input. This allows you to create folders, rename your images or add watermarks to them with dynamic information that changes automatically to match each image, dramatically increasing the efficiency of your workflow.
Keyboard shortcuts Edit and organise faster thanks to a comprehensive library of keyboard shortcuts. You can also further customise the shortcuts to create your ideal workflow.

Preserve colour and detail like never before when shooting at high ISO settings and start your editing with higher quality images - before you've even started making adjustments.
Output proofing Processing images for large prints is very different from processing images for use in social media. Capture One allows independent process recipes, whereby you can save different setups to achieve the desired output with just one click. Each process recipe can have a different image size, quality, ICC profile and sharpening - and these are just some of the settings you can customise. Output Proofing allows you to quickly view the final image of each recipe without having to process your image first. So it's a breeze to optimise any recipe to perfection without tedious trial and error.
Simulated film grain Simulate an analogue look by adding film grain to your images; six grain types are available. Change the effect and granularity for maximum control over the final look.
Moiré Handling difficult patterns that result in moiré is simple and straightforward. Apply it as a local adjustment for maximum control.
Lens corrections Correction of distortion, chromatic aberration as well as light and sharpness reduction is done via Capture One's extensive lens profile library or directly via the manufacturer's profile.
Keystone Use Keystone to straighten vertical or horizontal lines - or both. The on-screen Keystone tool makes this process a breeze.
