  • Binoculars
  • Fun observation even at dusk! These 70mm binoculars provide a bright image and show details even in the shadows. They are also well suited for astronomy.
  • Fully waterproof to protect against the elements. Nitrogen filling inside to prevent fogging.
  • High quality Japanese optics that are finally assembled by experienced Celestron technicians in the USA.
  • Celestron XLT coating for best optical performance
  • With robust, waterproof hard case
  • Tripod thread, for long observation time

Even if they have the same key data at first glance, not all binoculars are the same - the differences become particularly clear in low light conditions. At dusk or at night, you need a device with a large lens aperture to collect as much light as possible - but large lenses alone do not guarantee an excellent image. To ensure that binoculars continue to function perfectly even after many years, high-quality images and a stable construction are also required.

The Echelon large binoculars have been specially developed for use in low light conditions. Whether you want to observe the other end of a valley or the starry sky, distant targets are no problem for an Echelon. With an exit pupil of 7mm, the 10x70 illuminates the maximum aperture to which the human pupil can dilate - so no light is lost and you can perceive the maximum amount of detail.

The Echelon 10x70 has the lowest magnification of the Echelon series and therefore the largest field of view. This makes it very easy to find and track a target, and it can still be used well without a tripod. It is also ideal for observing large areas of the night sky or the Milky Way, or for hunting comets.

Outstanding optical quality
Celestron Echelon binoculars have high-quality 70mm objective lenses from Japan. Superior BaK-4 prisms have been selected for maximum contrast and sharpness, and all air-to-glass surfaces are coated with Celestron's proprietary XLT coating - the same high-quality coating used on our observatory telescopes to increase contrast and brightness.

Assembled in the USA
Celestron Echelon binoculars are hand-assembled by experienced technicians in Southern California, with optics sourced from Japan.

High-quality construction
Each Echelon binocular housing is made of an aluminum alloy. This makes it strong and lightweight at the same time - an important factor when choosing binoculars. Durable rubber armoring protects the body from minor impacts and gives you a secure grip. The binoculars are completely waterproof, and the nitrogen filling protects the optics from fog, dew and other forms of moisture. So you can use your Echelon even in bad weather.

With waterproof carrying case
The Echelon binoculars are supplied in a high-quality, waterproof carrying case that protects them from dust, water and shocks. A foam cushion protects them wherever your journey takes you.

Single eyepiece focusing
The Echelon binoculars have single eyepiece focusing, so you can adjust each eyepiece individually to your visual acuity. Once you have focused it to infinity - the usual distance for long-range binoculars - you can use the binoculars immediately. If you share the binoculars with other observers, they can also focus each eyepiece quickly and easily

Large eye relief
The Celestron 10x70 Echelon binoculars have 21.5 mm eye relief, making them comfortable to use with or without glasses. The flip-up rubber eyecups keep your eyes in the perfect position to see the entire field of view.

Tripod mount
Echelon binoculars can be easily attached to a photo tripod for long observations. With a separately available tripod adapter, you can attach them to a ball head or, better still, a two-way panhead and observe in peace.
