For those unrepeatable moments when you can't just say "do it again" to your subject, there's the Speedlite EL-1. Absolute reliability and literally lightning-fast performance, plus advanced wireless communication and a high-performance battery, make it the ultimate Speedlite flash.

Ready for any moment
Be ready for anything. The extremely fast flash charging time of only approx. 0.1 - 0.9 sec.1 enables up to 170 flash releases at full power2. High-speed bracketing shots are also possible at a lower power level.

Power when it counts
The powerful LP-EL battery ensures the extremely fast triggering speed of the Speedlite EL-1 - from flash firing to flash firing. You can expect up to 2,345 flash releases from one charge. The precise battery level indicator4 lets you know exactly when you need to recharge or replace the battery.

Reliably good shots
When the pressure is on, you can rely on the Speedlite EL-1 to deliver. In addition to a guide number of 603, the flash unit offers the same dust and splash protection as our L series Lens. An active cooling system prevents overheating, so you can achieve much longer operating times.

Flexibility and control
